The Benefits of Taking a Defensive Driving Course

The Benefits of Taking a Defensive Driving CourseNew York motorists are no strangers to aggressive driving tendencies on the road. Therefore, it is imperative that every New York resident knows how to drive defensively in order to maintain a safe balance on the roadways. Whether you have been driving for 40 years or are a relatively inexperienced driver with less than 5 years under your belt, taking a defensive driving course can prove to be extremely beneficial.

Rather than complaining about the aggressive driving tendencies of others on the road and your auto insurance rates, enroll in a defensive driving course! At the Misner Agency, we pride ourselves in offering rewards to drivers who refresh their memories of defensive driving measures. Taking one of these courses can land you a 10% discount on your bodily injury, property damage, and collision auto insurance premiums. This insurance reward will remain on your policy for three years!

Even the busiest of bees can make time to attend one of these courses. AARP Defensive Driving classes are available in South Fallsburg and typically occur once or twice a month on Saturdays. If you are an AARP Member, this course will only cost you $20. Non-members must pay $25 for enrollment. End of the year classes in South Fallsburg will occur on November 22nd, December 13th, and December 27th. Since seating is limited, pre-registration is required. If you will not have the opportunity to attend one of these classes but still want to take advantage of all the benefits a defensive driving course provides, simply enroll in an online course for utmost convenience.
