If you’re still waiting to get into the Christmas spirit, be sure to mark these events on your calendar! Not only are they local but they are sure wants to get into for some family fun!

3rd Annual Wallkill East Rotary Turkey Trot
On Thanksgiving morning, don’t miss the chance to participate in the 5K turkey trot, starting at 8 a.m. prompt! The course will start and end at the Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill, NY. Registration opens at 6:45 a.m. for all runners and walkers! This allows enough time to run (or walk) your way around the course and still make it home in time to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner before your guests arrive. Sign up today!

Annual Meeting & Holiday Celebration
The Sullivan County Visitors Association will host this event on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd at The Sullivan in Rock Hill. During the festivities, the SCVA will announce the winner of the 13th Annual TOAST (Tribute to Outstanding Associate Serving Tourism) Award. Presentations for the evening will also feature a detailed look at both the SCVA’s most recent accomplishments and its plans for the upcoming year. It’s open to all – don’t miss it!

Holiday Market at Bethel Woods
Kick start your Christmas shopping on Dec. 5th and Dec 6th 11am – 4 pm by visiting The Holiday Market! Artists, crafters, and specialty food vendors will gather in the Market Sheds for this event for all to enjoy! Guests can also enjoy a visit from Santa and his elves, live performances from local musicians, and children can enjoy a cozy fire and activities! The Muppets Christmas Movie will play on both days to add to the festivities!
