Where To Catch 4th Of July Displays In The Hudson Valley
The 4th of July is almost here! While your days over the holiday weekend may be filled with pool parties, backyard barbecues, parades, and more, odds are high that once the sun sets you will be joining with millions of other Americans to celebrate our freedoms by watching a fireworks display. These spectaculars in the sky have become a classic 4th of July tradition. So you can enjoy it with your friends and family, here are a few fireworks displays in the Hudson Valley that celebrate our independence.
- Wallkill: Want to kick off the fun a day early? Head over to the Town of Wallkill Golf Club on July 3rd to watch the free fireworks display. People will start gathering around 6:00 p.m., and the fireworks will come at dusk.
- Mohonk Mountain House: On the 4th, Mohonk Mountain House will be hosting lots of fun. From a Kids’ Club carnival to demonstrations at the Firehouse to a parade to a log roll, there will be no shortage of activities to entertain the whole family. The Illumination of the Mountains fireworks display begins after dusk.
- Village of Otisville: The fun does not have to end on the 5th. On July 11th, head to Mount Hope Town Park in Otisville, New York to enjoy their Independence Day event. Kicking off at 6:00 p.m., there will be food, ice cream, and fun, all leading up to a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. Parking is $5.
